Compares GB's own current UK meteorological season so far against the same season in an earlier year, for one metric at a time. This season is still in progress, so it's matched against the same elapsed portion of the earlier season, aligned by position within the season rather than by calendar date.

Energy sources, any country vs. any country
Compares one energy source or category from one tracked grid against another - the same country, or two different ones, e.g. USA wind against Great Britain wind. Uses each country's own real stored history over a chosen time range.
Defaults to USA wind vs. Great Britain wind. Not every country tracks every source (e.g. the USA doesn't report biomass separately) - if a combination isn't available, the chart says so rather than showing a placeholder.
