Sweden: the live status of the Swedish electricity grid
Sweden's grid, operated by Svenska kraftnät, runs on one of the lowest-carbon generation mixes of any country worldwide, dominated by hydro and nuclear with a fast-growing wind fleet. Sweden is split into four price zones (SE1-SE4); this page tracks SE3, the southern-central zone around Stockholm. It isn't physically interconnected to Great Britain, so it's included here for comparison rather than as one of GB's own interconnector partners. Demand, generation, day-ahead price and generation mix below are live from the ENTSO-E Transparency Platform, covering the SE3 zone specifically.

About the French grid
Svenska kraftnät operates Sweden's transmission grid, part of the Nordic synchronous area (shared with Norway, Finland and eastern Denmark) rather than Continental Europe. Sweden is split into four bidding zones, SE1 (north) through SE4 (south); this page tracks SE3, the zone covering Stockholm and central Sweden. The national mix is dominated by hydro and nuclear, with a rapidly expanding wind fleet, giving Sweden one of the lowest-carbon electricity systems of any country.
Sweden has no direct electrical interconnector with Great Britain, trading instead with Norway, Finland, Denmark, Germany, Poland and the Baltic states. It's included on this site purely for cross-country comparison via the Comparisons page.

The Elexon Insights Solution, NESO Data Portal and Carbon Intensity API that power the Great Britain pages are GB-specific and don't cover Sweden, so this page draws on a different source instead:
- ENTSO-E Transparency Platform - the pan-European grid data hub, required by EU regulation for every connected transmission system operator to publish to. Powers demand, generation, day-ahead price, the generation mix, the 24-hour mix chart and the History section above, all via Sweden's own bidding zone. Requires the site operator's own free API token, obtained through a short registration process - shows "not enough recorded history yet" rather than a placeholder figure if one isn't set or ingestion hasn't run yet.
Two figures aren't shown on this page at all: ENTSO-E doesn't publish emissions intensity (g/kWh), and its generation-per-type data doesn't include cross-border physical flow, so rather than show a permanently illustrative placeholder for either, they're left out until a real source exists.
